This farmhouse in good condition enjoys the privacy of a secluded position in a rural enclave and surrounded by vegetation, it is nevertheless, within walking distance to a town with all services and amenities. The home is set in a large plot of approximately 7.000 m2 which is planted with a variety of trees including oranges, olives, almonds and figs.
The traditional cortijo was refurbished about 18 years ago maintaining a markedly rustic atmosphere, with exposed original beams, rustic tile flooring indoors, a stone fireplace where a log burning stove has been fitted, wooden window shutters, and the extensive use of stone in exterior walls and paving. Although restored and in good condition, this property offers the new owners the possibility and the room for expansion.
The built area includes 108 m2 of dwelling plus the 21m2 stone paved covered porch. There is also a useful storage shed of 9.5 m2 outside the house. The home is distributed over two floors. The Ground Floor consists of a lounge with an open plan kitchen. From the lounge room, there’s a door leading to the main bathroom. The stairs lead from the lounge room to the First Floor, and into an open bedroom, and from there into another bedroom with a shower unit in the corner. Outside the porch, there is another room, which is currently used for storage, but which could be converted into another bedroom, as there is a further storage area with plumbing for the laundry room which is also used as a wood store. There is parking space within the property.
