The house is currently entirely off-grid. Electricity is supplied by a bank of 12 batteries which are fed by a series of solar panels augmented by a gas generator. Gas is delivered to the door by tanker. Drinking water is supplied from a bore-hole shared with three other neighbours. Mains electricity is connected to the edge of the plot and only bureaucratic process has delayed its connection, underground, to the house.
Location
The property enjoys a superb position, rural yet under ten minutes from the A44 motorway, offering easy access to Granada in around 30 mins and the coastal beaches of the Costa Tropical in about the same. Málaga airport is approximately 90 mins away.
