Self catering accommodation - Two traditional town houses available for rent. Situated in the village of Abdet, near Guadalest, surrounded by beautiful mountain scenery, yet only 20 kms from Benidorm.
Feature well appointed bathrooms (one ensuite), and spacious bedrooms. Other features are "double height" living area, private garden/patio, open fire/stove for those cool winter evenings in this peaceful mountain village. There is even a secret hiding place, a reminder of Spain's relatively recent turbulent history.
Walking Holidays: The Costa Blanca area of Spain is renowned for both challenging and relaxing walks. We have provide some free guides to local walks. We can also provide week long guided or self-guided walking holidays.
Climbing and canyoning: Our Costa Blanca climbing pages have local crag info + downloadable topos (guides). Abdet is at the centre of the Rockfax Costa Blanca area and the local crag just a few minutes walk from the village has aaround 100 routes grade 4,5 and 6. There are bolted and traditional climbs of all grades within easy reach. The area has one of Europe's most favourable climates for year round climbing.
The nearby canyon recently featured on TV is great fun.
Relaxation: During the summer months you can while away the hours at one of the local pools, spectacularly situated amidst amazing rock and mountain scenery. Also the local canyon provides excellent swimming in smooth rock pools. Also close by are ideal locations for snorkelling and scuba diving.
Road Cycling and Mountain Biking: Imagine riding amongst spectacular peaks on great tracks or roads. We can supply self guided or fully guided biking holidays. You could even follow the route of the Tour of Spain that passes through the area most years (a stage finished on the nearby Sierra Aitana). Early in the year the roads are busy with amateurs and professionals making use of the great climate and terrain.
