This magnificent villa is built on a sloping, 3 acre olive grove. The villa’s main level has an open patio, around which one has access to the living room with fireplace, a terrace with beautiful views of the sierra and Ronda, the dining room, a fully equipped designer kitchen, a powder room, and a guest room with bathroom. A hall way on an intermediate level provides access to two additional bedrooms each with bathroom. The bright, master bedroom is located upstairs with a large bathroom and private roof terrace with gorgeous views. An additional bedroom which doubles as the TV and game room with sitting area and a bathroom is on the villa's lower level. There's also a utility room for 2 washers, 2 dryers, and additional refrigerator. The swimming pool is surrounded by a large sun terrace with a shower house and a roofed, poolside bar with BBQ.This villa is built in elegant yet rustic, Andalusian style with marble floors, central, under floor heating, antique Spanish wooden doors and high, sloped ceilings. Each bedroom has a ceiling fan for warmer weather, although the house is always pleasantly cool due to thick double walls and typically cool over night temperatures in the summer. The proprietors owned a well-known Spanish restaurant in Manhattan, so the ability to entertain friends and to enjoy fine cooking and dining were primary goals taken into consideration when this house was designed. The sloping garden blends into an olive grove with over 80 old olive trees and a vegetable garden near a small creek at the bottom of the property. The private, terraced pool area with a 10 by 4 meter salt water pool is located in the rear of the house. The pool has its own shower and bathroom building with kitchenette as well as a roofed bar area and grill for pool side barbecuing.Customer Reviews:"My husband and I prefer off-the-beaten-path vacations as opposed to high-octane touristy vacations, and by far, this was the most incredible vacation ever! We've gone swimming with stingrays, floated in biolumincent bays, and canvased rain forests on foot. But nothing prepared us for the breathaking scenery in Andalucia!! Mari & Salvador, caretakers, were incredibly friendly and kept the villa in top shape every day. (I have to admit that I am not used to someone making my bed for me;). We were nervous about taking a vacation with friends, and leaving our kids behind, but everything went so smoothly and we were able to completely relax and enjoy.
