CASA 'MARVISTA' - is on The Costa Blanca which is situated on the east coast of Spain and is one of the most beautiful places in Europe. The W.H.O. considers this region to have one of the healthiest climates in the world with more than 320 days of sunshine and an average temperature of 22 degrees. The area is a paradise whether you like to stay on the beach all day, play golf or scuba dive in crystal clear waters. ATTRACTIONS - FOR CHILDREN Apart from Golf (6) Local Courses, go-karting, Water Sports and numerous beaches available, the area also boasts, Bowling Alley's, Terra Mitica Theme Park, The Safari Animal Park, Aqualandia Water Park and Mundomar to name but a few that are all within around 30 minutes drive. Valencia has the Europe's largest Marine Park housing over 45,000 animals of 500 different species in the numerous underground aquariums. Cumbe-del-sol - 2 minutes Has (2) wonderful beach bars serving a variety of food throughout the day. MORAIRA - 5kmtrs A wonderful harbor, quaint shops, restaurants and cafes. Holiday homes are owned by some superstars. JAVEA pronounced 'Habia' - 10 minutes away The original Javea old town has quaint narrow streets, the port area with luxury yachts alongside fishing boats and delightful street cafes and then the Arenal beach area is packed with cafés, restaurants and bars as well all kinds of shopping possibilities. The most famous feature in Javea is the mountain ?the Montgo? Javea´s habitants swear it's an elephant turned in to stone. You can even see the elephant's eye close as the sun goes down. The historical heart of Javea is the church of Sant Bertomeu. One of the inner walls is from the year of 1244. Year when the Spanish king Jaime the Conqueror defeated the Moors. Local posters will tell you were and when Spanish Flamenco dance takes place. Denia - 20 minutes away. Denia has it all.. banks, restaurants, brand name shops and the largest hospital in the area. It has a large harbor with ferry terminals serving Ibiza, Menorca, Mallorca and Formentera for day trips or longer stays. Visit the Tower of Gerro. A lookout post from the 17th century. There are plenty of bars and restaurants with entertainment during the summer months. The Fogueres de San Juan on June 24th is the celebration of midsummer. Go to the beach to see some spectacular bonfires. The Christian and Moors fiesta takes place during August 14th to 16th. Spectacular street parades remembering the hundreds of years of Moorish occupation. Calpe - 25 minutes The beaches are excellent and you will find a wide range of quality restaurants serving food from almost all over the world. In the summer months you will find live music in the bars. Jazz, blues and soul together with country singers. Do not miss out on the old town murals, monuments and museums. The Peñon de Ifach a huge rock, if you are in shape and do not suffer from vertigo you can hike to the top. Altea - 30 minutes It has a beautiful old town with cobbled streets leading up to the blue and white domed church - The Virgin del Consuelo which means Our Lady of Solace. There is also a train service from Altea on the Costa Blanca to other coastal towns like Alicante, Benidorm and Denia. The Castillo del Conde de Alfaz is the place for an unusual but superb entertainment with "medieval" knights giving a fantastic show of expert jousting and horsemanship. The castle is close to Altea on the road towards Benidorm. Please observe that during the medieval supper you eat with your fingers. Wash your hands before going!
