With the arrival of the Catholic Kings there is a decline of the city which lasts until the 18th Century, when Carlos III rebuilds these watch towers and carries on the construction of the Bezmiliana"s fort. The current name of "Rincon de la Victoria" is given by the settle of the Minimo"s Order and its nunnery of "la Victoria" in these lands.
