It is a unique and diverse region; the north is dry and cooler with the intense light of desert; the southern part is rich with torrents and wide valleys where the vegetation runs riot. To the east is one of the least spoilt and most beautiful stretches of the Andalucian Mediterranean coastline. Protected from the cold by the high peaks of the Sierra Nevada, and warmed by the hot winds from North Africa, it has a subtropical micro climate.
It is the only place in Europe, where tropical plants such as avocados, mangos, papaya, oranges, and the traditional sugar care used in the production of its famous rum, are to be found.
In the campsite there are 21 fully equipped bungalows which can sleep up to 5. These enable you to enjoy the campsite and special atmosphere without renouncing home comforts.
