Casa Tia Maria is a large country house looking out over the Valley of Lecrin, in Acequias, a lovely village 25 minutes drive south from Granada, en route to the Costa Tropical. The grounds and pool are there for the exclusive enjoyment of guests, the pool being open from Easter to the end of October. The whole site is oriented to the south-west. Walking trails lead out from the village to the whole of Sierra Nevada National Park.
The scenery surrounding Acequias is stunning and the village small and friendly. Within walking distance the larger villages of Lecrin and Niguelas offer a wide range of services. Bread, fish, vegetables and other foods are delivered Acequias nearly every day.
The village is ideally placed for taking daytrips to Granada, the beaches of the Costa Tropical, or the lush scenery of the Alpujarras.The apartments vary in size and offer comfortable beds and sofas, sunny terraces, peace and quiet, well equipped kitchens and WiFi Internet.
Casa Roma is a two bedroomed house in a quiet corner of the Tia Maria site. The entrance is from a semi private patio with large double wooden doors to the street. This gives privacy enabling the guest to use the patio as a seating area in the event that the roof terrace is too hot! Entering the house there is an open plan living room, kitchen and dining area. The kitchen is equipped with gas stove, fridge freezer, and plenty of work surface and cupboards. The gas hot water heater is in the kitchen and the washing up area overlooks the patio. In the living room area there is a sofa and sofabed, a music centre, study area and Spanish TV. Heating is provided by an excellent Hergom cast iron woodburner. Upstairs to the bedrooms and large bathroom. Here the master bedroom and the twin bedded room both have built in wardrobes and there is a balcony overlooking the patio.
