Casa Tranquila is situated high on the Montgo mountain adjoining a Natural Park in a highly sought after area of Javea. The apartment is the lower floor of the owners villa, has its own access, is very private and completely self contained. The villa benefits from a large salt water (low chemical) pool, attractive gardens and an extensive terrace with plenty of shade. Guests will have private use of the terrace and pool apart from I hour per day when the owner may swim (at the visitors convenience). Facing south and protected from the north winds the villa is ideal for summer and winter holidays, catching the sun from dawn til dusk. The terrace is equipped with a table and chairs for outdoor dining and sun loungers for relaxing either in the sun or in the dense shade provided by the covered areas. Here is the ideal situation to enjoy the long summer evenings watching the sun go down and enjoying the fine local wines, olives and almonds before lighting the gas b.b.q or taking an aperative before choosing one of the excellent restaurants that Javea or Denia offer.
While a car is essential, the villa is less than 10 minutes away from the centres of both Javea and Denia which both offer a huge selection of restaurants, weekly markets and safe, blue flag beaches. The cities of Valencia and Alicante are both about 1 hour away by car. Nearer to home are a few restaurants, a supermarket, bank and pharmacy. For golfers the La Sella golf course is 5 minutes away and Javea golf course is reached in 10 minutes or so.
Should the owner be there she has extensive knowledge of the area and speaks Spanish so will be able to advise and assist you if necessary on a variety of matters from medical problems to ordering a delicious take away paella. Otherwise she will keep a very low profile!
The architect designed apartment is very attractive, freshly decorated and furnished to a high standard. The kitchen is exceptionally well equipped - all in all a home from home. Access to the apartment is from the terrace where a glazed door leads to the living room with two comfortable sofas, the tv and dvd player, games and books. At the far end of the living room is the twin bedded room and its small ensuit shower room. Also leading from the living room is a delightful, curved corridor leading to the large kitchen/ diner. Off the kitchen is a store/laundry room and also the entrance to the second bedroom with its large ensuite bathroom. The layout of the apartment is therefore ideal for two couples sharing or a family with older children as the bedrooms are far from each other and therefore very private. The apartment is therefore also ideal for two people who wish to holiday together but not share a room. All rooms are bright and sunny with windows looking out onto the pool and terrace. The windows are fitted with external blinds to keep the rooms cool and also mosquito blinds. During the winter there is central heating and during the summer there are fans in all rooms although in winter the apartment is naturally warm and in summer is always pleasantly cool. The pool is large and exceptionally deep (even the shallow end is deeper than normal) and not fenced off. For this reason very young children are not accepted and all older children must be good swimmers.
