This comfortable apartment is on two levels, the lower part (accessed via a few steps leading down from the terrace,) consists of double bedroom with twin beds and sofabed and new bathroom, with separate corner shower. The upper part has open plan living room and fully equipped brand new kitchen, with marble worktops, new bathroom and double bedroom, with patio doors opening onto the sun terrace. It is located a few minutes walk from the pool,supermarket and various poolside bars and restaurants. It is a very family friendly place being located on a well established private complex of whitewashed Andalucian-style villas and apartments amid well cared for tropical gardens, and there is always a security guard on hand (24 hours) to deal with any unforeseen problems (eg key loss etc). Parking is conveniently located outside the apartment. There is also a regular bus service a few minutes away to take you into town and back twice an hour, thoughout the day and evening. The sun terrace is equipped with a patio table and 4 chairs, also sun chair loungers are provided. The swimming pool ( see photo) is located a few minutes walk away and has life guards. It is set in immaculate gardens, with grass areas and is reputedly one of the most beautiful pools in Nerja. There are several poolside bars and restaurants, and a seperate pool for small children.The famous Burriana beach in Nerja is just a 10 min drive away or about 25 mins if walking. It has numerous restaurants offering locally caught sea-food to international dishes. You will also find a diving school. There are many other beaches in the area all offering different facilities from jet-skis to peddle-boats. There is also a nudist beach (non participants welcome) 15 mins away by car in the direction of Granada, which has a couple of excellent beach restaurants.There are many activities available in the area ie horse riding, water-parks, golf, tennis, nature safaris, sailing and diving. The national park, which is a protected area, can be accessed a few metres away from the property and is ideal for those who enjoy walking in the mountains. If you are interested in art then the Pablo Picasso Museum in Malaga is well worth a visit.
