Also inhabit the polecat, weasel, bobcat, marten and wild boar. Among the prey with its majestic flight ply the tops of the mountains and roads toed eagles, goshawks, buzzards and owls, nocturnal raptor larger observed. The cultivation of the vine brought prosperity to the area, creating associated with this activity as coopers industries. In the late nineteenth century when the decline of the crop is grown to be affected by the phylloxera disease that attacks grapes. Currently this activity is marginal, performing in the park still traditionally the treads in the winepress of Torrijos and obtaining wine called Los Montes, with a rather demonstrative purpose and exposure. The space offers natural resources such as timber, firewood, cork, livestock, game species, etc.. However, its representative function is closely related to its proximity to the town of Málaga that has led to it becoming the lungs of the city, using the population as a recreation and entertainment area.
