Are you planning a trip to Spain? Then you should know this: There are 2 ways of traveling: 1) You go to a place, great hotel in the center, go visit the touristy areas (where everybody goes), eat at the places the book guides say, spend tons of money on food, souvenirs, etc, and go back home...
2) You go to a place, meet locals, get to see the hidden gems and special places that only locals know about, see the touristy areas as well but then eat at the little places where no tourist would ever go, get to know the day-life and nightlife of a city or town through the eyes of a local, and go back home with the feeling of really knowing that city...

My name is Carla, I'm from Madrid but grew up in the United States, so I speak fluent English. I'm based in Madrid, I will show you the city, its ins and outs, I will tell you its history, stories and will show you all the fun that Madrid has to offer!

Also, if your plan includes other cities or towns around Spain and you are not sure how to plan the entire trip so you can see as much as possible without spending your entire vacation on the road, I can always help you plan your itinerary so it's the best trip of your life!
