The Nelson Music Academy. Los Boliches (www.nelsonmusicacademy.com) teaches different styles of music to students of all ages and abilities. Lessons are fun and group practice is available free of charge - Guitar, (Acoustic, electric and bass), Drums, Woodwind (Sax, Clarinet, Flute, Oboe), Brass (trumpet, trombone) Piano, Keyboard, Violin, Music Theory, Song-writing and Vocals.
The Academy sponsors FUNKY VOCALS (www.funkyvocals.com) a non-profit making singing group open to anyone and everyone. No audition and no need to read music - singing for sociability, health, relaxation and laughter. What better way to fend off the depression of today’s economic and social climate? Meeting currently at Fuengirola Confortel, Los Boliches.
NMA also runs -Full time and part time music courses - tailored to suit the individual. Students are encouraged to widen their comfort zone with confidence building, performances and working in a team environment. Examinations are taken with ABRSM and ROCKSCHOOL.
For children not ready for one to one lessons, or just to be part of a group - Kids musical experience workshops - groups for ages 3 to 12 – fun with hands-on playing percussion, keyboards, recorders, introduction to reading music, natural rhythm and much more.
