Usually it is more sunny and a couple of degrees higher than in other areas. In this area are the famous beaches of Papagayo, (a group of about six natural white sand beaches). The Port Marina Rubicon is another attraction of the area for the different activities offered. Along the marina there is a pitch & path the 9-hole Hesperia. Dorada Beach or golden Beach is highly recommended for families and children as it is well protected and safe by a large dam. The center of Playa Blanca remains the balconies and facades typical of the Islands.
