A comfortable family villa (with its own pool) built on two levels to take advantage of the stunning views over Mahon harbour. From any of the terraces you can enjoy watching the boats in the harbour or the lights twinkling in Mahon on the horizon whilst you sip your cooling drink watching the sunset. You can either dine on the barbecue terrace under the pergola or on the covered terrace in front of the house star-gazing. There is an extensive home library for those who like to read on their holiday and an effective wood burning stove for those who prefer to take their holiday early or late in the season. We lived there over the winter once - the house was built for all year living in case we decided to retire to Menorca.Notes on accommodationOur villa is furnished simply and sensibly with families very much in mind. Although the villa is suitable for families with children, care should be taken with toddlers as there are a number of steps around the property. It is very comfortable for two or three couples wishing to holiday together as there is plenty of room for each couple to have their own space - very necessary when sharing! Having had grandchildren there since they were babies the barbecue terrace is gated at both ends but the covered terrace is not. Very good home library for those who like reading.Further detailsThere are three or four large supermarkets on the outskirts of Mahon, between the airport and the villa. There is also a small local supermarket in Cala Llonga, to which one can walk - if you are fit!
